The photographs are hand-selected, printed on Hahnemühle paper, embossed with the Captured seal and date-stamped. Each print is framed in a white, handcrafted, solid wood museum shadowbox. All images are priced between $1,752 and $2,952 and include at seasons end, a journal of all 52 images and the story of each, from the pen of the photographer.
"Captured is introducing a new concept, from the way photography is presented and sold to consumers, to the collective participation among its photographers," said Senatori. "Whether customers are veteran collectors or new to art buying, the straight-forward approach enables the power of the photo to do the work and speak for itself. I'm excited to be part of it and it's an honor to kick off the first season."

Captured is an online destination for large format, contemporary fine art photography. Captured aims to make fine art photography accessible and widely valued by offering an online brand experience and art-buying opportunity that’s different from any other that exists today. Over the course of a 52-week season, Captured will feature 52 photographers from around the globe. Each week, one powerful image from one talented photographer will be featured and for sale for one week only. The concept of Captured was born from founder Peter Johnson’s interest in photography as contemporary art, but also from his discord with the accepted practice of creating “value” by limiting photographs with arbitrary edition sizes, print sizes and pricing structures. The simple solution: Sell only big, commanding work; One size, framed and available to all, at a fair price.
